June 21, 2026
On June 21, 2026, 65 members of ASEZ WAO participated in an environmental cleanup in Nairobi as part of the ASEZ WAO Green Earth campaign.
The volunteers worked together to clean Ngara Road and remove waste that had accumulated in public spaces. Through their efforts, approximately 91 bags of waste were collected, contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment for local residents.
The Ngara Ward Office actively supported the campaign by providing the necessary cleaning equipment and collecting the waste gathered during the cleanup. This cooperation between ASEZ WAO and the local government demonstrated the importance of working together to address environmental challenges and improve the community.
The activity was also an opportunity for the volunteers to raise awareness about environmental protection and responsible waste management. By dedicating their time and effort to cleaning their surroundings, the ASEZ WAO members demonstrated that meaningful environmental change can begin with small actions carried out together.
The successful cleanup highlighted the positive impact of cooperation between volunteers and local authorities. ASEZ WAO will continue to participate in environmental cleanup activities and community service projects, contributing to a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable community.
