Jerusalem Mother

Heavenly Jerusalem is Our God the Mother

Numerous churches worldwide claim to believe in God, but actually each of them has a different way of belief. We need to know God fully in order to worship Him correctly. When we know God and understand Him correctly, our worship can be true. It’s the duty of children to obey His commands. Likewise, the fundamental duty of man is to know God and obey His commands.

We Are Given the Promise of Eternal Life

God has given us a priceless promise, so the Bible calls us the children of promise.

Galatians 4:28  Now you, brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children of promise

What is the promise of God?

1 John 2:25 And this is what he promised us- even eternal life

The promise of God is eternal life. Then let us find out how we can receive eternal life.

God’s Divine Nature Abides in all Things

Revelation 4:11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

All things were created by the will of God, and they reflect His invisible power and divine nature.

There are numerous living creatures in the world: birds flying in the air. Fish swimming in the sea, and all the wild animals running around the open fields. God created all these living things by His consistent will, What was His will then?

The birds in the air have their fathers and mothers. The fish of the sea also have their fathers and mothers, and the zebras on the fields have their fathers and mothers too.

All living creatures have their fathers and mothers. Specifically, it is mothers who give life to them. Through this providence in creation, God wants us to know His will.

Male and Female Were Created in the Image of God

Let’s see whether it reflects God’s divine nature that all living things have both their fathers and mothers.

Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground

God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness,” God did not refer to Himself as “I” in a singular form but rather “Us” in a plural form.

Genesis 1:27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Male and female were created in the image of God. This shows the image of God includes both male and female. God in the male image is called God the Father. The Bible testifies not only about the male image but also about the female image of God, this is why the Bible refers to God as ‘Us’. Then, what should we call the female image of God? We should call her Mother. According to the Bible, we must believe in our Spiritual Mother as well as our Spiritual Father.

Life Is Given by Mother

Adam and Eve were created in God’s image. When God created Adam and Eve, each of them had a duty.

Romans 5:14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.

Adam was the pattern of Jesus Christ who was to come to this earth. Jesus is God the Father according to the Trinity. Then, who does Eve, who was created in the image of God represent? As Adam represents God the Father, His wife represents God the Mother; the wife of the Lamb.

Genesis 3:20 Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living.

In Hebrew Eve means Living or Life. Why does the Bible call the first woman Eve, which means life? In this world, there is one thing that a man can never do, but only a woman can. It is to give birth to a child. The role of giving life to a child is only given to a woman. This is why the Bible calls the first woman Eve, which means life and why it calls her the “The Mother of all the living”.

Through this  providence in Genesis, we can understand that Adam stands for Christ, Eve represents His wife and all mankind living on the earth represent their Children. Abel symbolizes those who will be saved and Cain those who will not be saved.

Through the prophecy about Eve, God made known to us that eternal life is given by Heavenly Mother.

Jesus too taught us about this in John 6:39, 40,44,54. Jesus repeated four times that He would give them life on the last days. As Christ, He had the power to give them life at that time, however, why did Jesus wait until the last day? It is because the Bible prophesies that spiritual life will be given to us by our spiritual Mother, who appears in the last days.

God foretold the plan of salvation through the six-day creation. The six-day creation is a prophecy about the 6000-year work of redemption. By creating Eve on the 6th day, God prophesied that Heavenly Mother who is represented as Eve would appear at the end of the 6000-year work of redemption.

According to this prophecy, Heavenly Mother appears in the last days and gives eternal life to Her children.

Heavenly Mother Appears in the Last Days

Revelation 19:7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

Here, the Lamb is not Jesus who came 2000 years ago, but Jesus who comes in the last days. It is because Jesus appeared alone at His first coming. However, Jesus who is prophesied here is to appear with His Bride, so this prophecy should be fulfilled at His second coming in the last days.

Revelation 21:9-10 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”

And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

The angel told John he would show him the wife of the Lamb. Then whom did the angel show him? It was Heavenly Jerusalem. Therefore the Bride, Wife of the Lamb, whom the angel showed to John, was the Heavenly Jerusalem. Then who is the Wife of the Lamb, the Heavenly Jerusalem to us?

Galatians 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

It says that the “The Jerusalem that is above.” ‘Above’ refers to Heaven, who is the Heavenly Jerusalem to us? The Bible says that she is our Mother. Whom does “our” refer to? The Bible says they are God’s people, the children of promise who will be saved in Gal 4:28.

The Bible says the promise of God is eternal life 1st John 2:25, and the children of promise are the children of Heavenly Mother, Gal 4:26,28. It is because the promised eternal life will be given to us by our Heavenly Mother who appears in the last days.

How should children refer to the woman who gives them life? Of course, Mother Gal 4:31. Likewise, the Bible calls the Children of promise who will receive eternal life, the children of Heavenly Mother. So if anyone wants to become a child of promise and receive eternal life, he should become a child of Mother by having faith in Her.

The New Covenant Reveals God the Mother

Through the new covenant, we can reach full knowledge of our Heavenly Mother. The Bible says that the law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ; Gal 3:24.

Jeremiah 31:21-22 …. The LORD will create a new thing on earth— a woman will surround a man.

Jeremiah 31:31-34 “The days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them, ” declares the LORD. “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the LORD. “I will put my law in their minds and write it in their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the LORD. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”

Jeremiah 31: 22 states that a new thing that is a woman surrounds a man, and in verse 31, the new thing is described as the making of a new covenant.

When Physically interpreted, a woman’s surrounding a man is not a new thing at all, spiritually, the Woman Eve, was part of the man Adam, for she was formed from his rib. If God had not taken one of the man’s ribs and not made the woman from it, how would the woman who was within the body of the man surround him? So the new thing God prophesied means an unprecedented thing-The appearance of Mother who has resided within God the Father.

The new thing is to be created in the world by God’s making the new covenant. God said that through the new covenant, He would write His law in our hearts. He added, ‘I will be their God, and they will be my people.

Galatians 4:21-26 … These things are being taken figuratively: The women represent two covenants…. Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children.  But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

Sarah represents the new covenant and our Mother, the Jerusalem above. Through the new covenant, we’ve found the existence of our Mother. Hosea the Prophet said, ‘Let us know, let us press to know the Lord.’

Heavenly Jerusalem Is Our Mother

Galatians 4:26-31 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.  For it is written:  “Be glad, barren woman, you who never bore a child; shout for joy and cry aloud, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman  than of her who has a husband.”  Now you, brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children of promise. … Therefore, brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.

The reason we are called ‘the children of promise like Isaac’ is because we will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven through our Heavenly Mother. In the family of Abraham who represents God, Isaac inherited his father’s estate through his mother, Sarah. This history teaches us that the Heavenly Mother plays a decisive role in our salvation too (LK 16:19-24, Gen 21:1-12).

We are the children of Mother the new Jerusalem. God allows each of our righteous acts to become a beautiful ornament on the fine linen of our Heavenly Mother who is the Bride so that we can participate in the splendid glory of Jerusalem. We are truly blessed people because we have been granted the privilege to share in the glory of Jerusalem.

Our Heavenly Mother Is the Bride of the Lamb

In the parable of the wedding banquet in Matthew 22:1-14, the bride, the heroine of the wedding -is missing. This shows that the time did not yet come for the Heavenly wedding banquet to be held. Then what is the prophecy about the wedding of the Lamb to be fulfilled?

Revelation 19:6-9 …. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given to her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.) Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”

The wedding of the Lamb has an appointed time. In the parable of the wedding banquet in Matthew, the bride didn’t appear. However, in Revelation, John said that the bride of the Lamb made herself ready. Revelation is a book of prophecy that the apostle John wrote in A.D 96 when he saw a vision of what would take place in the future. Therefore, the event that Revelation 19:7 speaks about-‘The wedding of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready’ -is to take place at Jesus’s second coming.

Revelation 21:9-10 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”  And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

Galatians 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother

The angel said to John that he would show him the ‘the bride, the wife of the Lamb,’ and then he showed him Jerusalem. Here, we can see that Jerusalem represents the wife of the Lamb.

Jerusalem is our spiritual Mother who gives us eternal life. Without our spiritual Mother, a new life can’t be born. When God created all things, He let them receive life through their mothers. This is God’s will and providence.

Salvation and Blessing Given Through Heavenly Mother

In God’s work of redemption for 6000 years, the greatest promise is eternal life given by Mother. There were  so many forefathers of faith and prophets who lived in accordance with God’s will, but they didn’t receive this promise of eternal life(Hebrews 11:38-40).

This promise of blessing is to be given when Mother the new Jerusalem appears in the last days.

The promise of God, eternal life, can only be given by the coming  of our spiritual Mother. Now we are living in a very important age when this promise of eternal life is granted. God has chosen us to be the most refined people in His work of redemption for 6000 years, and now He leads us to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Without the appearance of Mother, no one can get eternal life.

Without Eve, a woman’s life cannot be born. This precious secret of eternal life has been given to us in this age, Since we have received freely the promise of the greatest blessing, which cannot  be replaced with anything else in the world, we must not neglect our salvation.

From the creation of the world, God has prophesied about the existence of our heavenly Mother who gives us spiritual birth.

The Spirit and the Bride give us the water of life.

Without Mother, there is no life. Without Mother, there is no truth.

Those who do not believe in Mother can’t receive the promise of eternal life and the Kingdom of Heaven.

In the last chapter of The Bible, we can see that the water of life is given to those who realize our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother, who are the Bridegroom and the Bride at the heavenly wedding banquet, and come to the wedding feast.

Revelation 22:17-19 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

The Spirit is our Father, and the bride is the wife of our Father, so she is our Mother. Our Father and Mother both give us the water of life, but the Bible describes God as a singular entity. It’s because God the Father is the representative of the Heavenly family. In the book of Romans, it is written that sin entered the world through one man, Adam (Rom 5:12). This shows that the Bible views Adam as a representative, considering Eve as part of Adam. Since Eve was created from the rib of Adam, the Bible says that they become one flesh (Gen 2:21-24).  Also, people have the view that husband and wife are one. This view originated from the providence of God.

Now let’s open our spiritual eyes wide. Our Mother, the Heavenly Jerusalem, has come to this earth to give us eternal life. Let’s diligently proclaim the favor of Mother, who works hard for our salvation day and night, to all people around the world and faithfully carry out Heaven’s command to save the whole world.

Let us be obedient to our Mother and bring joy to Her, as Jacob did so that we will all inherit the eternal kingdom of Heaven, as the rest of the woman’s offspring.
