Introduction
The Bible consists of a series of deep and mysterious secrets, among the secrets are about the Second Coming Christ, however most people even though they read the Bible, they do not realize the hidden meaning of the words of every prophecy in the Bible.
There are many churches and denominations in the world; they all study the same bible , but each of them interprets the Bible in a different way. Then which among them interprets the Bible correctly according to the will of God?
Revelation 5:1-5 Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.
The one who sits on the throne is, of course, God, and the book in His right hand is the Bible without a doubt, because God has not given us any book other than the Bible for our salvation. However what happened to the Bible? It is said that the Bible is sealed with seven seals .And who is the only one who can open the book, the Bible? He is the Root of David. No one in heaven or under the earth can open the secret of the Bible except the Root of David. Then, which church do we have to go for our salvation? We must go to the church established by the Root of David. This is why the Bible says that those who seek and revere David can be saved in the last days.
Nowadays, most bookstores have many Bible commentaries, which the interpreters have written with their private opinions. However, no matter how many times they read the Bible, none of them can know the will of God with their own wisdom. It is only the Root of David who is able to reveal to us the secrets of the Bible.
Prophecies About David We Must Seek in the Last Days
Hosea 3:5 Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days.
In the last days ,whom should we seek and revere in order to receive God’s blessings? Receiving God’s blessings means receiving salvation. If a person does not receive salvation, how can he say he has received God’s blessing? And “the last days” here indicates these days, so this is a prophecy to be fulfilled in this age.
Then who is David whom we must seek? Here, David does not refer to the second king of Israel, but a prophetical David who is to appear in the last days.
Ezekiel 34:11-24 For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I myself will search for my sheep and look after them. As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness…. As for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will judge between one sheep and another, and between rams and goats…. I will save my flock, and they will no longer be plundered. I will judge between one sheep and another. I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will tend them; he will tend them and be their shepherd. I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David will be prince among them. I the LORD have spoken.
The book of Ezekiel was written about 450 years after the death of David, the king of Israel. In other words, the prophecy, “I [God] will become a Shepherd and search for my lambs,” and the prophecy, “I will place over them one Shepherd, my servant David,” are about the spiritual David, not the physical David. These prophecies imply that God will come in the name of David in the last days. Prophet Ezekiel repeatedly prophesied about David.
Ezekiel 37:24-27 My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd. They will follow my laws and be careful to keep my decrees. They will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your fathers lived. They and their children and their children’s children will live there forever, and David my servant will be their prince forever. I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant… I will be their God, and they will be my people,
God said that His people would keep His laws and decrees in the reign of David. Every prophecy of God is to be fulfilled without fail. We, who look for salvation, should realize when and why the spiritual David comes and what He brings, and we must receive David our Shepherd as His sheep.
Only those who receive David can become God’s people, and only the people of God can be saved and go to heaven. Therefore we must seek David.
Jesus Who Came in the Name of David
If we do not meet David coming in the last days, we are not able to know the secret of life that God has opened, and we will fail to find the way to salvation and eternal life that only God knows
Let us find out whom does David stand for prophetically in the Bible.
Isaiah 9:6-7 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever…
Who does the Bible say would reign on David’s throne? It is God who would be born as a child and a son. Therefore, King David in the prophecy of the Bible refers to God who comes in the flesh. And Jesus fulfilled this prophecy 2,000 years ago. Let us confirm this in the New Testament.
Luke 1:31-32 You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David…
This verse tells us that the one, who will fulfill the prophecy of Isaiah, is Jesus; in other words, the one who will sit on David’s throne is Jesus. Jesus came to this earth according to the prophecy of King David.
Physical David in the Old Testament & Spiritual David in the New Testament
Why do you think the Bible prophesied about Jesus by comparing Him to King David? It is to let us know the works of Jesus through those of David.
Let us find out the prophetical relationship between David and Jesus. As it is said that Jesus would sit on David’s throne, let us study about the throne of David.
2 Samuel 5:4 David was thirty years old when he became king, and he reigned forty years.
David was anointed at the age of 30 and became king. How long did he reign over Israel? He reigned for 40 years. The life of David was a prophecy, and it was fulfilled by Jesus who came as the prophetical David. Let us find out how Jesus, the prophetical David, fulfilled the prophecy.
Luke 3:21-23 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry.
At what age was Jesus baptized? At 30. When did David become king? It was at the age of 30. Just like King David, Jesus the prophetical David was baptized at the age of 30 and started His ministry. He could have started His work at the age of 20 or 40. Why did He start to preach the gospel at the age of 30? It was to fulfill the prophecy of David’s throne. Then, how long must Jesus preach the gospel? Jesus had to preach the gospel for 40 years, the duration of David’s throne.
However, Jesus preached the gospel just for three years at His first coming (Lk 13:6). Then, what about the remaining 37 years? All the prophecies of the Bible must be fulfilled (Mt 5:18; 24:35).
So the remaining 37 years of David’s throne must be fulfilled. To fulfill the prophecy, Jesus needs to come a second time.
Hebrews 9:28 he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
This is a prophecy about Jesus’ second coming. How long is Jesus to preach the gospel according to the prophecy? To fulfill the prophecy about David’s throne that the First Coming Jesus did not complete, He is to preach the gospel for 37 years.
What is the purpose of His second coming? It is to bring salvation. This implies that no one will be saved unless Christ comes to this earth a second time. This is why the prophet Hosea said that those who will revere David in the last days will receive God’s blessings (Hos 3:5). Then, how will Jesus come again? 2,000 years ago, Jesus who sat on David’s throne came in the flesh. So, the Second Coming Jesus who is to fulfill the prophecy of David’s throne will also come in the flesh.
In the book of Hebrews, Christ was prophesied to come a second time to save mankind. Micah prophesied God would come to Zion and that He Himself would teach us His ways in the last days. Isaiah prophesied that the One who gives mankind eternal life through the New Covenant Passover is surely our God.
The Sign of Spiritual David
How can we recognize the Second Coming Jesus who will appear in the flesh? The Bible prophesies that many false Christs and prophets will appear in the last days.
What is the sign for us to recognize Jesus coming a second time as the prophetical David?
The Passover of the New Covenant, Which Is the Hidden Manna, is the Evidence Through which we can recognize God. When the Israelites shouted to Jesus to show the evidence that He was God, Jesus answered, “I am the living bread that came down from Heaven,” and taught that the way to eat manna from Heaven was to have the bread and wine of the Passover.
When Christ comes a second time He is to restore the Passover of the New Covenant, the hidden manna, which has not been observed for 1,600 years since its abolishment in A.D. 325.
However, the power of darkness can never hinder the purpose and will of God Almighty. According to the prophecies of King David and of the parable of the fig tree.
Christ Ahnsahnghong was born in 1918 and was baptized in 1948 at the age of thirty, and shined the light of life of the New Covenant. The World Mission Society Church of God believes in Christ Ahnsahnghong (new name of Jesus Christ) , the one who came a second time according to the prophecies of the Bible.
Jesus Christ prophesied that the Son of Man would come a second time when the fig tree was revived, that is, when Israel gained independence in 1948
Christ Ahnsahnghong , the Root of David ,came to this earth in the flesh a second time and became the King of Zion by restoring the New Covenant Passover which was abolished in AD 325. After finishing His ministry for 37 years according to the prophecy of King David’s throne, He taught the people of Zion the truth of God the Mother, the Bride of the Spirit. Just as Peter recognized Jesus through the fact that Jesus gave the words of eternal life, the Church of God believes in Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother, who are giving us the words of eternal life in the age of the Holy Spirit.
Zion (World Mission Society Church of God) is the only church that keeps the feasts of the New Covenant throughout the world. The Bible prophesies that Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother dwell only in the Church of God and that people can receive the forgiveness of sins and eternal life and escape the last disaster.
Let us all flee to fortified cities of Mount Zion (Jeremiah 4:5)
