Bible Seminar “Elohim God” and Korean Culture Festival with IWBA
May 7, 2023
Preliminary
The International Workers Bible Academy (IWBA) at Nairobi World Mission Society Church of God held a Bible Seminar titled “Elohim God” and a Korean culture festival on May 7th, 2023. Prior to the seminar, attendees watched a video about our church. The event was attended by 45 members of the Nairobi Zion, including 5 new members who had come to study the Bible Truths.
The Bible Seminar
During the seminar, Brother Nathaniel and Sister Von highlighted the Biblical proof of Elohim God and Their working together since creation. They explained that “Elohim” is actually the plural form of “God” in Hebrew, and this word is mentioned about 2500 times in the Bible. Attendees also learned that the male image of God is God the Father, and the female image of God is God the Mother, as written in Genesis 1:27 (NIV), “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”
The speakers emphasized that God Elohim, who is The Spirit and the Bride are the source of water of life in this age of the Holy spirit; they work together to give us the water of life, which is available to anyone who thirsts and anyone who wishes to have eternal life . Revelation 22:17 (NIV), “The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come!’ Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.”
After the seminar, the attendees had the chance to participate in the Korean culture festival, a side event that was held alongside the Bible seminar. The festival featured traditional Korean games and activities, which provided an opportunity for the attendees to engage in fun and interactive experiences while learning about Korean traditions.

The Korean Culture Festival
The festival included a series of five steps, each of which had a seminar quiz, and participants received a sticker upon successful completion of each step. The first three steps were held on the ground floor, and once completed, participants moved to the 4th and 5th steps on the 7th floor as guided by ushers.
The steps included:
Calligraphy: In this game, attendees were able to write their English names in Korean calligraphy.
Hanbok: Attendees wore Korean traditional clothing.
Jegichagi: This is a traditional Korean game in which players tried to keep a small object, a shuttlecock, in the air by hitting it with their feet.
Thackgi: This is a traditional Korean game of balance, where players tried to hit a small item and turn it upside down .
Gongi: Gongi is a game similar to jacks, where players tried to pick up small objects with one hand while tossing a ball into the air and catching it with the other hand.
Thuho: In this game, players throw arrows into a pot and tried to knock over as many blocks as possible.

Snack Time and Unity
After completing the five steps, participants received a gift and enjoyed a snack time in Zion. The food, prepared with love of Mother added to the warm atmosphere and created unity among attendees.
The Zion family’s hospitality and kindness touched new members, who expressed gratitude and continued to study the Truths of the new covenants and Savior. Overall, the event provided a valuable learning experience of Biblical Truths for salvation.
