Bible Seminar and Korean Cultural Experience Held at the Church of God in Mombasa, Kenya

On August 16, 2026, a special Bible seminar and Korean cultural experience event was held at the Church of God in Mombasa, Kenya.

Twelve people participated in the event, which provided a meaningful opportunity to learn about the Bible and experience Korean culture in a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.

The event began with a Bible seminar on the topic of “The Heavenly Family and the Earthly Family.” Through the Bible, participants learned about the relationship between the heavenly family and the earthly family and had an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of God’s family.

Following the Bible seminar, participants took part in various Korean cultural activities. They experienced writing in Hangul, the Korean alphabet, and moving beans with chopsticks, among other activities. These hands-on programs allowed participants to experience Korean culture in a fun and engaging way.

The Hangul writing activity gave participants an opportunity to learn about the unique Korean writing system and try writing Korean characters themselves. During the bean-moving activity, participants carefully moved beans with chopsticks, testing their concentration and hand coordination. Laughter and encouragement filled the room as everyone enjoyed the challenge.

The event was more than simply an introduction to Korean culture. It provided an opportunity for participants to communicate with one another, build friendships, and share meaningful experiences while learning about the Bible and Korean traditions.

Through the Bible seminar and cultural activities, the participants gained a deeper understanding of the heavenly family and enjoyed experiencing the beauty and uniqueness of Korean culture. The event became a memorable occasion that strengthened friendship and cultural exchange between Korea and Kenya.
