The 6937th Worldwide Cleanup Campaign
January 1, 2023
The Happy new year festive season comes with lots of family reunions and activities but this was celebrated differently at the Nairobi World Mission Society Church of God. December series of holidays has the Nairobi streets empty as most residents travel back to upcountry for time with family. Despite the upcountry movements , our environment needs optimum care and attention.

Nairobi Kenya World Mission Society Church of God started off the year by displaying Mother’s love by cleaning up a part of Ngara area; IUBA and IWBA members joyfully took part in the cleanup exercise.
The cleanup campaign involved picking trash along residential pavements and mini-markets.
IUBA member, Peter Simiyu sincerely gave thanks to Elohim God for allowing we, Nairobi Zion, to take part in the clean-up campaign; he says ; “ We give thanks to God as the clean-up was a success and we were able to change the earth even though partially, it made an impact around the area and the environment at large; we were able to collect a lot of trash and plastics which was suffocating the Earth and were an environmental Hazard.”

A total of 9 garbage bags were collected. All the collected trash was taken to the local County government collection point. In Nairobi, municipal waste is taken to the Dandora dumping site, a former quarry some 15km east.
“We Are the World mission Society Church of God and we will keep cleaning the environment even if it is in small portion for the betterment of tomorrow; all thanks and glory to Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother ”, says Sally.
After the cleanup exercise, members were treated to sumptuous meal prepared in Zion with the love of Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother.
