Church of God Carries Out Street Clean-Up on Fedha Road
— Practicing Christ’s Teaching to Be the Light and Salt of the World —
Members of the World Mission Society Church of God carried out a street clean-up activity to practice love for neighbors and protect the local environment.
The activity took place on December 21, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a total of 80 members participating. During the two-hour activity, members cleaned approximately 2 kilometers of Fedha Road, collecting illegally dumped household waste and litter from roadsides, walkways, and nearby areas. As a result, they gathered 101 bags of trash, each with a capacity of 50 liters.

This street clean-up was conducted with members coming together from various areas of Nairobi, Kenya, including Parklands, Kasarani, Umoja, Embakasi, and Kangemi. Members from different neighborhoods united with one heart and one purpose, demonstrating the harmony of the church community and its shared commitment to serving society.
The activity was carried out in an effort to practice the teaching of Christ, who said, “You are the light of the world” and “the salt of the earth.” Members of the Church of God believe that faith should not remain in words or knowledge alone, but should be expressed through concrete actions that benefit neighbors and the wider community.
Participants took part in the clean-up with the mindset that caring for their living environment is an expression of love for others, and that protecting a clean and healthy environment is a responsibility toward future generations. Such actions reflect the love and sacrifice taught by Christ, who placed the good of the community above personal convenience, and serve as a positive example of being light and salt in the world.

The World Mission Society Church of God plans to continue practicing Christ’s teachings in daily life and to carry out various volunteer and environmental activities that bring hope and positive change to local communities.
